Overview:
The Saudi Commission For Health Specialists is an independent scientific professional body, established in 1992. Our goal is to foster a healthy society through qualified health practitioners, protecting and promoting health led by health practitioners who serve the community efficiently and humanely.
We are currently seeking a Director of Health Workforce Planning Studies and Forecasting to guide our strategic workforce planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public health and health administration, along with a passion for cultivating a more efficient, humanely-served healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of strategic workforce planning initiatives to meet the current and future healthcare needs of Saudi Arabia.
- Oversee the design and execution of studies to assess the demand for healthcare professionals in different specialties and regions.
- Use data analytics and forecasting models to project future healthcare workforce requirements based on demographic, epidemiological, and healthcare utilization trends.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify priority areas for workforce development and align planning efforts with the evolving healthcare landscape.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations to optimize the distribution, education, and training of healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of workforce planning strategies, adjusting them as necessary to address emerging needs and challenges.
Education and Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Human Resources, Public Policy, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Public Policy is preferred.
- Relevant experience in workforce planning, studies and forecasting (7-9 years preferred).

Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance, measure progress, and assess the effectiveness of implemented strategic plans using relevant workforce data and statistical information.

Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities to guide the development and execution of strategic plans in alignment with the center's objectives.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the vision, objectives, and progress of workforce planning initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Education
Public health, health economics, health administration, or a related field.
