The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is leading the way in modernizing healthcare education across the Kingdom. As part of our expanding commitment to digital transformation, we are seeking an experienced and creative Learning Experience Designer to join our E-Learning Department.
This role is perfect for someone who excels in applying instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create engaging and effective digital learning content. You will work alongside subject matter experts and multimedia specialists to craft high-impact, learner-centered experiences that support the professional development of healthcare practitioners.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop engaging e-learning experiences such as interactive modules, simulations, and video-based learning.- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and translate complex material into clear, outcomes-based learning paths.
- Conduct learning needs assessments and define clear learning objectives aligned with SCFHS competency frameworks.
- Use instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom’s Taxonomy to guide development.
- Build content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or other authoring platforms.
- Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and user-centered design across all learning experiences.
- Contribute to course evaluation and analytics to support continuous improvement and learner engagement.
- Stay up to date with e-learning trends, emerging tools, and innovations in healthcare education.
Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare education or professional development is an advantage.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360 Suite, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Working knowledge of LMS platforms and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools, video editing, or scripting is a plus.
- Instructional Design & Learning Standards:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and curriculum development best practices.
- Familiarity with the ATD Talent Development Capability Model and application of ATD-aligned design approaches is required.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and user experience in online learning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and learner-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- ATD certifications such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or APTD (Associate Professional in Talent Development).
- Other relevant instructional design certifications (Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, etc.) are a plus.
