Job Description
Overview As the Health Workforce Planning Programs Manager at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialists (SCFHS), you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating programs aimed at optimizing the healthcare workforce to meet the evolving needs of the Saudi healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing and overseeing the development and execution of health workforce planning programs in alignment with the strategic objectives of the SCFHS.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify key areas for program development and enhancement.
- Monitoring program performance and conducting regular evaluations to ensure effectiveness and alignment with workforce planning goals.
- Leading a team to ensure the successful implementation of diverse workforce planning programs, including training initiatives, capacity building efforts, and talent development programs.
- Providing strategic guidance to program leads and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the workforce planning programs.
- Contributing to defining the vision and strategic objectives and determining the general direction of the center.
- Managing the activities of developing and implementing strategic plans for the executive management of training and development economics in alignment with the center’s objectives.
- Managing performance monitoring activities, evaluating results, measuring the progress of implementing the assigned strategic plans, and measuring performance compared to the strategic plans.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate should possess:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management within the healthcare sector, with a focus on workforce planning or related areas.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multifaceted programs and initiatives.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and drive program success.
- A deep understanding of the Saudi healthcare system and a commitment to advancing its workforce development goals.
Education
