Objective of the role:
To effectively manage and enhance the organization's international relationships by monitoring diplomatic engagements, coordinating official meetings, documenting contributions to joint committees, and ensuring the successful implementation of recommendations, thereby fostering collaboration, and promoting the organization’s global objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Relationships
Monitor and manage the organization's relationships with foreign governments and their diplomatic missions and create a comprehensive database for this purpose.
- Document Contributions
Track and document the organization's contributions to international joint committees.
- Coordinate Meetings
Facilitate the organization of official meetings and technical discussions between the organization’s officials and their foreign counterparts, as well as diplomatic missions.
- Arrange Official Visits
Organize external official visits to counterpart entities, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders and overseeing the implementation of recommendations.
- Coordinate Foreign Delegations
Manage the visits of foreign delegations to the organization in cooperation with relevant internal parties.
- Implement Recommendations
Monitor the implementation of recommendations from international joint committees in collaboration with relevant organizational units.
- Reporting
Prepare periodic reports on international agreements and the status of recommendations from joint committees and official meetings.
- Manage Relationship
Create, monitor, and update relationship for foreign countries.
- Document Improvements
Document developments in the working mechanisms related to international relations, agreements, and joint committees.
- Archive Agreements
Regularly archive agreements, minutes of official meetings, and records from joint committees in a shared file.
Requirements
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Minimum 6.0 IELTS or 70 TOEFL is preferred.
- Proficient in analyzing complex information and producing clear reports.
- High ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of cultural differences and the ability to navigate them in diplomatic settings.
- Familiarity with database management and archiving systems.
- Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Education
International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
